I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Dallas, TX. The LPC means that I am licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors to provide counseling services professionally and ethically. I am also a National Certified Counselor (NCC), which means that I am certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors. The MA degree means that I have completed the state mandated coursework in the field of counseling. I offer individual, couples, group and family counseling to a diverse clientele. Currently I am practicing counseling in the North Dallas area.

I am a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin where I concentrated in social psychology. I performed psychological experiments on self-esteem and presented my research findings at the Plan II Honors Program symposium. My interest in psychology brought me to Dallas Theological Seminary, where I studied counseling and Bible studies.

I am currently serving as a counselor working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among my areas of expertise are counseling survivors of childhood sexual abuse, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, and Anxiety Disorders. Additionally, my extensive graduate work in Biblical studies allows me the opportunity to offer a Christian-centered therapy approach to those clients seeking a biblically-based counseling experience.

The opportunity to increase knowledge and awareness of mental health issues is a passion of mine. I have been fortunate enough to present at conferences and to general audiences on topics ranging from sexual abuse, psychoeducation on teen mental health issues and self-worth.
